If you have decided to undertake one of the Postgraduate pathways or a stand-alone module, you now need to complete an application form. There is a deadline date for submission of applications but this changes each semester. However, they are generally about 3 weeks before the start of the semester. The deadlines ensure that we can process your application and provide you with all the necessary information prior to the start of the semester. The next intake is January 17 and we are accepting applications now. However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about programmes and modules.
The links to the application forms are provided at the bottom of this page. Please note that there is a different application form for those of you wanting to apply for the Non-Medical Prescribing module. You can either complete the form electronically or by hand, but a signature is required therefore a signed paper copy should be submitted.
Once you have applied you will be contacted by email and asked for any further information required or with an offer. Once you have received your offer you must remember to accept or reject it. If your offer is conditional you will be sent a further, unconditional, offer once you have met the conditions. You must also accept this offer.
NON MEDICAL PRESCRIBING
APPLICANTS FROM NHS TAYSIDE AND NHS FIFE APPLYING FOR NON-MEDICAL PRESCRIBING SHOULD OBTAIN AN APPLICATION FORM AND DETAILS OF THE CLOSING DATE FROM THE LEAD PRESCRIBER IN THEIR AREA. INFORMATION RELATING TO THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS AVAILABLE ON THE NHS INTRANET. THE CLOSING DATE FOR THESE WILL BE EARLIER.
Tips for Applying
The form is relatively straight forward to complete:
If you would like to use prior study or experience to seek entrance to this programme or prior certificated learning to gain credit, then you must identify this on the form AT-NUMI REF 1 and AT-NUMI 2. Further details applying for this can be found at Accreditation for Prior Learning (APEL)
Remember that you are asked to submit all supporting documentation and a passport size photograph along with your application. Section Q outlines the types of documentation required
